Mangocher

[edit]

@Umartoor since the tehsil's population is mentioned with 80,138 residents, I am curious about the figures for Mangocher town. Could you look into this and confirm the correct numbers? Crosji (talk) 08:02, 10 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

Mangocher is a village. Usually population of village is not published. Whole population of Mangocher tehsil lives in rural areas. Umartoor (talk) 08:05, 10 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
@Umartoor, yes agree. I corrected it, Mangocher is a village. Crosji (talk) 07:43, 11 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
Thanks! I have request to you. Can you help create pages of all tehsils of Balochistan. There are several tehsils which has no page. That’s why their data cannot be added. Once a page is there. I’ll add demographics of them.
Thanks in advance! Umartoor (talk) 07:49, 11 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
@Umartoor, just a quick note: when responding, please tag the person you are addressing. Otherwise, they won't receive a notification unless they are actively following the page.
I am currently working on the tehsils, though it may take some time to complete thoroughly. In the meantime, I would like to invite @Bhatti.Fed and @Tribal Explorer, both of whom have shown strong interest in Balochistan, to join this effort. Their contributions would be invaluable in helping to expand and enrich the information available on the tehsils of the province. Crosji (talk) 11:02, 13 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
@Crosji I reject invitation from person like you. you are ill motivated, you like to censor information regarding terrorist sympathisers. I have very serious concerns on your credibility and intentions. Bhatti.Fed (talk) 06:33, 28 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
@Bhatti.Fed, We are here to put information of Balochistan which helps the people of Balochistan. Literacy rate in Balochistan is already lowest in Pakistan. Let’s help the community by making information readily available to them and readers. Will you help this cause? Umartoor (talk) 07:21, 28 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
@Umartoor I'm doing whatever I can in my own way. Bhatti.Fed (talk) 10:51, 28 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
@Bhatti.Fed, read this WP:NOPA. Crosji (talk) 11:29, 7 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Literacy rates question

[edit]

@Crosji: When reviewing some of the references used in the article at random as part of the Page Review Process, I noticed that the statistics used in the literacy rates appear to be off? The Mangochar sub-divison section on page 19 of the 'Table 12 : Literacy Rate' source states the total literate % of the population is 35.22%, male % is 44.78%, and female % is 25.44%, while this article states these percentages are 36.34%, 44.28%, and 27.95% respectively. Was this just an oversight on your part, or am I looking at the wrong information? Cheers! Johnson524 15:42, 11 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for pointing that out @Johnson524, it was probably a slip on my part. I tend to use previous articles as templates, and I must have overlooked updating those figures. It is always helpful to have another pair of eyes to check things. Crosji (talk) 16:00, 11 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
@Crosji:  Done, looks good to me now, cheers! Johnson524 16:13, 11 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
