Looks like the topics of most interest are actually Manfred von Richthofen, Manfred Rommel and Manfred Mann (musician), by quite a lot, but we make it unnecessarily hard to navigate there from here.

A Google Books lookup of "manfred" gives me 4 out of 10 results for the drama, the rest are references to people. Books Ngrams for these terms aren't particularly clear, and I'm not sure if we can distinguish references to the Byron character from references to other people based on this. The general top line trend shows two distinct periods of larger interest, and I wouldn't assume that the more recent post-WWII one is about the Byron drama.

Clickstreams for the hatnote aren't huge (~75) but it's still #3 destination here, and clickstreams at the disambiguation list show only traffic to the given name list.

It seems most likely that the average reader recognizes this as a human name, and it seems unlikely that they associate it with the work of art so strongly that it would actually be the primary topic. (Support) --Joy (talk) 09:00, 29 July 2025 (UTC)
