Artificial features at southern end

[edit]

There is some sort of dam and spillway at the southern end, making this lake not entirely natural at the moment. Does anyone know anything about these: dates? reasons? materials & construction method? I have done a search but I can find no mention of this, though they are clearly visible in aerial photographs on Google Maps and Bing Maps. FrankSier (talk) 17:08, 17 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

  1. May be a location map would be helpful
  2. Can any of the sections be expanded?
