[edit]This article would be greatly improved if some expert perspectives could be added regarding whether the charges were actually true. This is especially interesting since the trial is a famous example of miscarriage of justice (hearsay, not allowing the accused to face their accuser). Relationship to the Protestant Reformation and James I commissioning of the King James Bible in 1611
[edit]It certainly appears that there may be some relationship, here, to the interpretation of just what was going to be the 'proper' Christianity. The larger context of this plot can be developed.
