Intel Core microarchitecture

[edit]

Probably MCA is also present on CPUs using newer microarchitectures than Netburst (Pentium 4), I got a Machine Check Error today on an overclocked overclocking Intel Core 2 Q6600 Kentsfield quad-core while running a burn-in test under Windows XP Professional x64 Edition. The Codes and addresses displayed where (if the numbers of leading Zeros on the 64-bit-codes are correct): 0x0000009C (0x0000000000000005, 0xFFFFFADF29CB1240, 0x00000000B2000018, 0x0000000002000E0F) --MrBurns (talk) 05:08, 25 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
