Someone has put in a tag saying that a citation should be put in regarding MAXIMOP. How is this supposed to come about? I used MAXIMOP at Queen Mary College in the 1970s. I still have some lecture notes that say that it was developed there. Blaise (talk) 11:46, 8 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Maximop was written at Queen Mary College, starting in 1970. I was one of the authors. I'll see what I can find in the way of references, but there's an article by another of the authors at http://www.cs.man.ac.uk/CCS/res/res59.htm#g about the early days and development process. Maximop was used at Queen Mary (until the ICL 1900 was replaced by an ICL 2900). David Pick (talk) 21:28, 22 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
