Louise Clappe's residence in Plumas County

[edit]

Louise Clappe's letters indicate that from September 1851 to November 1852 she lived in Rich Bar and nearby Indian Bar, both on the East Branch of the North Fork of the Feather River in what then was part of Butte Co. and now is in Plumas Co. In late summer of 1852 she visited ranches in the American Valley in which the current town of Quincy is located but at no point did she live there. 207.229.135.115 (talk) 02:11, 11 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
