Théâtre de la Tour-d'Auvergne

[edit]

I can't trace this theatre. La Tour-d'Auvergne appears to be in Paris. Is it a mistake? Any ideas? --Kleinzach 05:47, 24 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

It is mentioned in Tom Walsh's Second Empire Opera (p193 "...the little Théâtre de la Tour-d'Auvergne") and there are two entries in Cinquante Ans de Musique Française de 1874 à 1925. Les Éditions Musicales de la Librairie de France, Paris, 1925 for operettas produced in 1874 and 1880. Obviously a minor venue... Cg2p0B0u8m (talk) 11:02, 24 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
OK, but where is it? There are two possibilities here. It may be the Théâtre de la Tour-d'Auvergne, or it could be a theatre at La Tour-d'Auvergne in Paris. Best. --Kleinzach 00:43, 25 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
