Fair use rationale for Image:NS logo.jpg
[edit]
Image:NS logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

GA status, date, length, QPQ ok, no close paraphrase found. ALT0 hook is the better option. But the sentence about art like Pedra Branca dispute need a reference just after the sentence in the article. And is it really pages 105-107 in the book? When I checked it seemed like the page is 94, but I just have snippet view. --Soman (talk) 13:38, 7 February 2026 (UTC)
- @Soman: Thanks for the review. Regarding the ref, it's covered by the citation at the next sentence, which cites pages 94–95 (actually, the Pedra Branca Dispute is on page 95, which says "there is also a lighthouse around the main island that resembles Pedra Branca, which was awarded to Singapore after a territorial dispute with Malaysia was heard at the International Court of Justice that year"). I've added the citation for that sentence. And for

, that was an error on my part since I copied it from the article, which had the wrong page numbers, and in turn, I copied that from Marymount MRT station, where the page numbers focused on that station's artworks; I've resolved it. Icepinner (Come to Hakurei Shrine!) 13:59, 7 February 2026 (UTC)
