Thank you for your work on this article. Unfortunately, I feel it is currently needs significant development to meet the GA criteria (particularly 3a) so I will be quick-failing it. Although this means I won’t do a full line-by-line review, I would like to offer you some of my thoughts below in case you'd like to continue working on the article and re-nominate it.
the article is extremely brief, at only 233 words. GAs can absolutely be short if not much can be said about a topic, but based on the sources I can access (i.e. not including the ones on ProQuest) I don't think that's the case for Benrey. the career section prose completely stops at 2011, leaving her more recent works and all acting credits of the last ~15 years unmentioned in the main body text. the filmography table and list of exhibitions should serve as a companion to the prose, not a substitute.
for any notable contemporary artist, I would expect to see some critical perspectives on their work- answering questions like these: how have her exhibitions been received? what themes does she explore? and more basic ones like: what types of paintings does she do (oil, acrylic, etc.)? what subjects does she paint?
her appearances in Tea in a Thunder Cup and Carbon need references.
the placement of the reference for Noticed and The Witching Hour in filmography table suggests it will support "by Javier Augusto Nunez" and "Also co-writer and producer, featuring Thom Michael Mulligan and Kari Nissena", respectively, but I don't see mentions of Javier Augusto Nunez or Kari Nissena.
Broadway World is considered generally unreliable especially for living people, and should be replaced. I'm also concerned that hispanopolis.com may not constitute a reliable source- from my reading it seems more like an entertainment/PR portal rather than an independent journalistic outlet. the article relies quite heavily on the latter one.
the lede is just two sentences and doesn't yet provide a standalone summary of the body, per MOS:LEDE. it puts emphasis on Glass Casa (as does the infobox), which isn't mentioned in the article body.
prose is generally functional, but reads more like a timeline of disconnected facts rather than a cohesive summary of the subject's career.
Altogether, I think the level of expansion needed for this article is best done outside of the GA review spotlight. You already have some great sources here that can be used to develop the text further. You might find it helpful to look at existing good articles about contemporary artists to get a feel for the overall format. Best, Zzz plant (talk) 15:57, 29 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
