a separate article?

[edit]

Shouldn't the collar of the orders of chivalry be discussed in a separate article? It is a bitt odd to find them here. They are a class of their own and can not be compared to the livery collar of a mayor. On the Dutch Wiki they have got a separate article with several illustrations.. If there's enough info to make a separate article, that would be great! Do you want to do it? - PKM 15:58, 30 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Collar of SS

[edit]

Can anyone please cite official authority for the unusual description as "collar of Esses"? I have never seen it historically referred to otherwise than as "Collar of SS" Jezza (talk) 17:37, 11 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Actually (excuse my typing) it seems pretty common, and used by the most recent books, plus Britannica. "collar of S.S." seems the alternative. Johnbod (talk) 19:34, 11 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
