Litharge and glycerin cement

[edit]

In the 1940s, a mixture of litharge, glycerin, and water made a useful cement, although for what purposes I have forgotten. It took some time to set, at least minutes, and perhaps hours. I'm fairly sure that proportions did not need to be exact; I probably never know what they should have been. Searching on this topic shows more info.
