Outdated city names

[edit]

I see that this list had not been updated since 2006, but quite a few cities had merged since and many districts had disappeared due to villages and townships becoming cities or being absorbed into another city. Maybe it's time to update this list.

Why no 0x1 area codes except 011?

[edit]

I noticed that other than 011 there are no geographical dialling codes with a '1' as the second digit. If I understand it correctly, there are also no non-geographic dialling codes that use this (other than those with a '0' as the fourth digit, i.e., 0x10). Is there a reason why 0x1 was mostly left out? SmilingBoy (talk) 07:57, 14 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
