Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because this article is different to List of legislatures by country which list parliaments by chamber. This page is a list of current legislative sessions and groups of incumbent members of parliaments --Moondragon21 (talk) 19:39, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because... this is a useful grouping, at least a merge would be good. These articles already share a category Category:Lists of current national legislators and Category:Current legislatures and this is a neccecary page to keep. --Masohpotato (talk) 23:34, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
Subnational legislatures split
[edit]Hi -- I saw the tag about merging out the subnational legislatures section. I think that makes perfect sense -- what I think makes the most sense would look like this:
Lists of subnational legislatures
Canada
United States
Other subnational legislatures
Keep a short list of others, unless separate articles appear. ~Malvoliox (talk | contribs) 17:10, 4 February 2025 (UTC)
- STRONG OPPOSE no matter what Trump says, CANADA IS NOT PART OF THE UNITED STATES! WIKIPEDIA SHOULD NOT ASSIST WITH HIS ANNEXATION PLANS! Mr Serjeant Buzfuz (talk) 18:43, 4 February 2025 (UTC)
- What? I meant to split out both into their separate articles, both of which already exist -- the Canada article /and/ the US article ~Malvoliox (talk | contribs) 23:30, 4 February 2025 (UTC)
