Serious formatting solution needed

[edit]

Alright, this list could use a bit of work. The problem is, I don't have any ideas myself. Alphabetizing is a good start and fairly standard, but the list is still difficult to navigate for someone unfamiliar with these orders. Is there a way to add another parameter for sourcing the list? And if so, what should it be - date of founding, geographic region? MezzoMezzo (talk) 03:33, 20 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Restructure

[edit]

Hi @MuslimByChoice92, I have no problem with you trying to make something more of this page, but I'm curious to know what criteria you are using to segregate major orders from not, etc. For example, the Mevlevi order is a pretty prominent one. Iskandar323 (talk) 19:00, 20 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Also, please make sure to relink all the orders in the different sections. At the moment, the restructure has removed a lot of existing links. Some of the listed items were also sourced, and those sources should be preserved where possible. Iskandar323 (talk) 19:03, 20 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
@Iskandar323 Ofcourse all links will be restored in better ways. MuslimByChoice92 (talk) 19:04, 20 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
@Iskandar323 Yeah it is, this is just first attempt, I am yet to add other orders such as Mevlevi, Ba'alawi etc. Major is the sense the one who first became popular, while Branches of them spread across later. There's a lot to do in restructuring this page. MuslimByChoice92 (talk) 19:04, 20 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
