Actually, is Leizhou mutually intelligible with Hainanese? kwami (talk) 12:53, 2 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

I asked a Leizohu speaker and this was his reply:
看在哪里~~象近到雷州半岛一带基本一样(如海口等)90%以上可通话。。。但总体上整个雷州话和整个海南话的相比就象潮州话和海陆话. (It depends on the region. The areas closest to the southern end of the Leizhou peninsula are 90% intelligible with the Hainanese spoken in Haikou. However, overall the difference between Leizhou and Hainanese can be likened to the difference between Teochew and the Hailu Hakka dialect). --A-eng (talk) 22:30, 6 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Qiong-Lei?

[edit]

The people of Leizhou become Qiong-Lei people in your mouth with the Limgao. 119.129.209.117 (talk) 14:31, 26 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
