http://www.eportfolio.org/ sells services - wikipedia should not be used as an advertisment platform.

Agree, removed this, in any case the link seemed to be broken or obsolete.
I think the original link went somewhere else. The concept of ePortfolio is relevant and they are an important trend in learning so there should be a reference. Here is one possibility.
