Overall:
Article meets the criteria and shouldn't have any issues being on the front page. However, two things. For starters, I think that Guerreroast's idea for an alternative hook is good; I'm not a big fan of the current hook. Is saying a person is named after a famous person that interesting? Secondly, well, the QPQ still is not done. I think it's fine for me to leave this be for now and give... a week or so maybe? For a QPQ to be done. Two reviews are required. But otherwise I don't think there's an issue with going ahead and saying the article doesn't have issues. Let me know when you do the QPQ and/or have any thoughts on the idea regarding the alt hook, and we should be good to go. I'll give you until March 13th. λ NegativeMP1 22:07, 6 March 2026 (UTC)
- @NegativeMP1 and Tails Wx: Actually, according to WP:QPQ, a QPQ (or two QPQs during backlog mode) must be provided before or at the time of the nomination. Unless there are excruciating circumstances, waiting a week for a QPQ is not currently allowed under the guidelines. We can probably give Tails Wx 24 hours or so to provide the two QPQs. - @Narutolovehinata5: I did not know that; thanks for informing me. I'll give Tails Wx 24 hours then. λ NegativeMP1 20:16, 7 March 2026 (UTC)
Marking for closure per WP:QPQ as there have been no QPQs provided within 24 hours of pinging. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 22:19, 8 March 2026 (UTC)
