Critiques should be front and center

[edit]

Much has been written about this bill, including https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2025/07/canadas-bill-c-2-opens-floodgates-us-surveillance

https://www.michaelgeist.ca/2025/06/why-bill-c-2-faces-a-likely-constitutional-challenge-by-placing-solicitor-client-privilege-at-risk/

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/windsor/bill-c2-is-anti-refugee-and-anti-immigrant-experts-warn-1.7553167

And many others. Because the Wikipedia article is one of the first resources many searchers will see, it would be good to include a comprehensive breakdown of the criticisms of the bill. It is not unreasonable to frame this as an assault on Canadian digital sovereignty, and on the rights of Canadians, and landed immigrants, period. 2607:FEA8:3F97:61F0:8DDE:1F88:FF59:9C82 (talk) 06:17, 27 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
