Clarification on the phrase "extinct town"

Is this another term for ghost town, or a distinct concept? If the former, I suggest changing it to the more familiar term. If the latter, adding some further explanation of the term in some form or other might be a good idea.--BrokenEye3 (talk) 05:47, 26 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
