Owner - state?

[edit]

This page said: "The banks' shareholders are the Icelandic State Financial Investments, which manages the 98% holding of the National Treasury and Landsbankinn hf. with a 2% holding." before I merged in NBI (bank). After it said: "The bank has been state owned since its establishment and its current shareholders are the Icelandic State Financial Investments, which manages the 98% holding of the National Treasury and Landsbankinn hf. with a 2% holding. 81.33% of the shares in the bank are owned by the Icelandic State Treasury, on behalf of the Icelandic State, while the remaining 18.67% of the shares are currently owned by the winding-up receivership for the old bankrupt Landsbanki." I'm not sure what "holding" means, it seems to be the same as "shares" but then the numbers don't match and then the former number seem to be wrong. If this means something different then please readd. I'm assuming "state-owned" is ok, even if the state doesn't own all shares (but has controlling share). comp.arch (talk) 10:31, 27 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
