The paragraph concerning the Willesden lineage seems dodgy, as no authoritative source can be found, and of the Romanov DNA testing, blood was taken from Prince Philip, not Queen Elizabeth II, so any claim of connection of her to him would not be possible. ~2026-13217-30 (talk) 13:28, 1 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
There's no source for that piece of information. I've really tried to find anything online, but everything refers back to the Wikipedia article. Also, if William Willesden did exist and was born in 1872, there was no way he was alive for the Romanov family DNA tests in the 1990s (he would be over 120 years old). ALSO, that particular research used matrilineal DNA (DNA from mother to daughter), meaning Willesden, a supposed son of Edward VII, would be of no use in that research.
