Unproductive reverting

Needs documentation
[edit]Is there any evidence that Kurt is a derivative of Curtis? It seems more likely its a short form of Konrad, which significantly precedes Curtis. Thus, Kurt is probably an older name than Curtis. At a minimum, the article should cite some authority for the claim.
