Argument given in the "Recovering ..." section is incomplete

The given argument assumes that the element given below is non-zero.

To do this one needs to choose appropriately by using some version of the linear independence of chracters.

The statement needed is as follows: Given any non-zero tuple of elements in , there exists a in so that is non-zero.

This is enough since . So a which satisfies this independence with does not lie in , so it must be a primitive element.
