Editing plan
[edit]This is my plan for editing this page:
- Talk about how punk was often misotheistic, in stark contrast to Krishnacore.
- Talk about the apparent contradiction between the abrasive style of hardcore punk and the prayer and meditation that Hare Krishna followers usually practice.
- Explain what rasa and Nada-Brahma are and how they relate to each other and Krishnacore.
- Perhaps briefly mention the meaning of the number 108 in Hinduism, since one of the first Krishnacore bands was called 108.
- Several other minor changes including:
- Linking to Transcendence (religion)#Hinduism where transcendence is mentioned.
- Explain what "transcendental vibration" means.
- Link to Vic DiCara where he is mentioned.
- Use consistent spelling of "straight edge" vs. "straightedge." The page for Straight edge uses mainly "straight edge" and also sometimes "straight-edge," but never "straightedge."

- Actually on the "straight edge" vs. "straightedge" point, the only appearance of the word "straightedge" occurs inside a quotation, so it should be kept as is. AsDaGo (talk) 02:14, 4 November 2025 (UTC)

Nonexistent quote
[edit]In this revision, quotation marks were added around "conscious of its own history and aesthetic," but this was never a direct quote from the referenced text. As such, I have removed the quotes. I also changed "Academic Mike Dines states" to "suggests" since he didn't actually say that directly. AsDaGo (talk) 03:50, 2 December 2025 (UTC)
