List of KiwiSaver Providers

[edit]

Congrats! A great page!

Just a thought though.....the List of KiwiSaver Providers reads a bit like an advertisment...should it be removed?

Ethical Investment

[edit]

Would be nice to have some pointers for Ethical Investment of KiwiSaver funds ... am looking into this at the moment, will add further finds to the article once I've done some research.

For now it looks like only one fund has stepped up to the plate: http://www.nzherald.co.nz/section/3/story.cfm?c_id=3&objectid=10450242&pnum=0 - Xurizaemon 23:42, 3 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

A section covering this has now been added. - Snori (talk) 20:02, 7 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Unfortunately I deleted the references accidentally. How can I fix it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.184.20.149 (talk) 08:14, 30 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

It's fixed. -- Avenue (talk) 12:44, 30 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to 2 external links on KiwiSaver. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Criticisms

[edit]

Recent edits by User:Fairreport moved the "Criticisms" section up into the Summary. It might be acceptable to have some passing reference to these there, but the Intro/Summary should be just that - a summary of the body. Inserting purportedly was also unreasonable based on the body text. Snori (talk) 17:35, 7 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Perhaps add a history?

[edit]

I was just reading this in an effort to find out who decided to start Kiwisaver, and I did not find out (that isn't important tho). The problem is that there is no history section on this page, and I for one, think there should be. I will gladly help add it, but I am not very good at doing anything above copyediting. ~~ Data Devourer (talk) 23:19, 13 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Or, at the very least, add some more info on its creation in the info at the top of the article? Data Devourer (talk) 23:23, 13 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Data Devourer, that's a great idea! Give it a go; it's the easiest way to learn. :) Chocmilk03 (talk) 02:22, 14 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Political issues -> History

[edit]

Currently the "Political issues" section is a bit of a mixed bag, it's a mixture of history & specific controversial political changes that occurred.

I suspect it'll be better if this section is reworked into a "History" section that could cover the establishment of the scheme and various changes to the scheme by different parties over the years.

Currently the "Political issues" framing makes it hard to talk about changes to the scheme in a neutral way, implication is that any change mentioned here must be negative, or that only negative changes can be listed here.

There are other sections of this page that are also a bit of a mess because they are forced to deal in-line with changes to the scheme over time. Probably it's better to simply have descriptions of the scheme elsewhere on the page represent only the current state of the scheme rules, and contain details about rule changes over time to a History section.
