Name, location and sources

[edit]

Do we think the Weebly and Greyhound Derby sources are sufficiently reliable to use? They look rather self-published to me. The OS Northumberland Sheet XCVII Surveyed: 1858, Published: 1864 is a good source but has the island labelled as King's Meadows with the centre, and the only building, the Countess of Coventry pub, pretty much due south of the chapels in St John's cemetery. So I'd put the coords at something like 54°57′40″N 1°39′00″W / 54.961°N 1.650°W / 54.961; -1.650 Cavrdg (talk) 10:42, 2 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
