No consensus for this per MOS. Also, Serbia doesn't even use these municipalities any more as they accept Kosovo's institutions of self-government per Brussels, Washington, and Orchid agreements, and these municipalities were established in 2005 prior to UDI. Also, as pointed out on Talk:Kosovo, which "de jure"? There are multiple conflicting de jure claims. De jure is a relative term. One could argue that Kosovo is legally independent and thus it is "de jure". IJA (talk) 20:27, 14 January 2026 (UTC)

This is Wikipedia, not UNipedia; besides, some UN specialised agencies say Kosovo is independent. We can't go with one de jure argument when there are multiple conflicting de jure claims. IJA (talk) 15:33, 21 January 2026 (UTC)
