Revert

[edit]

I just reverted the sentance that says Kamiyah Mobley contacted the authorities herself. I actually believe this to be true, as I heard this on my local news station, however, the source used to back this up with (CNN) doesn't state this at all, nor did my local news station , oddly enough. So I've had to remove this per WP:V and WP:BLP. Please keep it out unless a reliable source can be found. KoshVorlon} 15:20, 17 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Name

[edit]

Should the abductee be referred to as Kamiyah or Alexis primarily in the article? As I understand it per this interview (https://abcnews4.com/news/local/kamiyah-mobleys-mother-says-pain-lingers-after-lost-child-was-found) with her biological mother, she has continued to go by Alexis despite learning of her birth name. Other Adaptations

[edit]

I am certain that I have seen a movie or show (not the Lifetime one) whose plot incorporates several elements of this case, like the kidnapper posing as a nurse and actually speaking to the the mother while holding the child before taking it. I seem to remember the kidnapper's rationale being something like her having recently had a miscarriage and believing she deserved a child. Does anyone know what that is? 136.56.10.225 (talk) 00:59, 29 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
