Tehachapi tribe?

[edit]

Except for this one report of the Keyesville Massacre, do we have any reason to believe there was ever a tribe or band of Indians which went by the name Tehachapi/Tehachapie?  Randall Bart   Talk  19:58, 20 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Site of the massacre

[edit]

Is there a source for the second paragraph? This is the only place that I've read this particular conclusion about the location of the massacre. Without a source, it feels like original research to me. Bookishfwiw (talk) 16:49, 25 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Agreed. I have removed it (diff). Mutinus (talk) 16:40, 8 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Name

[edit]

When I search "Keyesville massacre" on newspapers.com, nothing comes up. I don't believe this is a common name. Nweil (talk) 17:56, 3 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
