Kerala name change

[edit]

As kerala's name has been changed, at least it can be added to page as an alternative name or native name as keralam or kēraḷam . I think the native name shold be more prominent than being religated to name sectionHMPRK (talk) 13:27, 14 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

[edit]

The article's first paragraph incorrectly states that the neighbor state of Tamil Nadu is "to the south-west". To the south-west of Kerala is the ocean, not Tamil Nadu. Whoever wrote this reversed west and east. Please change "to the south-west" to "to the east".

Likewise, the same first paragraph incorrectly states that the Lakshadweep islands are in the "eastern vicinity". Same problem. Please change "eastern vicinity" to "western vicinity". Shubshubshubby (talk) 14:14, 9 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

"Change the sentence in the demographics section where it is written as there is a significant Tamil population throughout Kerala mainly in Idukki and Palakkad districts to there is a significant Tamil population mainly in Idukki and Palakkad districts which accounts for 17.48% and 4.8% respectively". The mistake in the previous sentence was Tamil is not a significant spoken language throughout Kerala as their population is 1.4% of Kerala population which can be verified in the chart and datas.
