It is a fluff page and hagiographic; not notable

Like his father's books, his are readable and worthwhile, but the bio should indicate how he avoided the Vietnam draft (that was the Number 1 issue at the time for healthy males).

Update on Advent Deal

[edit]

Hi, I am working on an improvement for this page. I have suggestions for the Fisher Investments section regarding the deal with Advent. The deal is now closed and was covered widely in the press. We propose replacing the existing Bloomberg source with https://www.thinkadvisor.com/2025/01/08/fisher-investments-completes-3b-minority-stake-sale/ - which is more recent and covers the deal’s final terms.

In the last sentence of the second paragraph in this section, we would appreciate someone considering adding something like this to denote Ken Fisher's continued majority ownership of the company: “Ken Fisher retained majority beneficial ownership and more than 70% of the voting shares following the sale, which completed in early 2025.”

Factual updates

[edit]

Hi, I am working on two improvements for this page to bring it more up to date.

The first is for a new edition of Ken’s book “The Only Three Questions That Count”, which was published in November last year. My suggestion is to edit the following sentence:

"Fisher released the Second Edition of The Only Three Questions That Count in April 2012, and the Second Edition of The Ten Roads to Riches in April 2017, and the Third Edition of The Only Three Questions That Count in November 2025."

Citation for the edit can be sourced on the publisher’s website: https://www.wiley.com/en-us/The+Only+Three+Questions+That+Still+Count%3A+Investing+By+Knowing+What+Others+Don't%2C+3rd+Edition-p-9781394318865.

The second improvement is to clarify a change that was made to the way Fisher Investments and its former 401k business now operate. My suggestion is to either remove the following sentence which is no longer true and lacks relevance, or edit it to something like:

"Nathan Fisher is the CEO of Fisher\SMB, which was formerly part of Fisher Investments and known as Fisher Investments 401(k) Solutions, but now operates as an independent entity. senior executive vice president of Fisher Investments 401(k) Solutions."

This edit can be cited using the following sources: https://www.fishersmb.com/about-us/#our-history / https://www.wealthmanagement.com/ria-news/fisher-investments-to-spin-out-4-75b-401-k-business.

Thanks for anyone’s help in advance. Nicole for Fisher (talk) 20:15, 2 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Please would an interested editor assess the material added at User:Enoknia Beiret/sandbox, incorporate whatever is useful into the live article, blank the WP:COPYARTICLE, and leave a note here when done? – Fayenatic London 09:14, 6 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

That seems to me an improvement on the current version. But all those "Cite has empty unknown parameter: |coauthors=" errors need fixing. Maproom (talk) 09:10, 14 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
I've fixed that now, Maproom. – Fayenatic London 11:47, 29 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
