I deleted this information:

'convenor of the London Socialist Historians Group and'

because I don't know what a 'convenor' is and I couldn't look it up in an online Encyclopedia. If I am in error or this is typo then please put it back or fix it. Hdstubbs 04:36, 29 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Criticisms

[edit]

I have just deleted the Criticisms section of the article because it was unsourced. Per WP:BLP, "Unsourced or poorly sourced contentious material about living persons — whether the material is negative, positive, or just questionable — should be removed immediately and without waiting for discussion, from Wikipedia articles, talk pages, user pages, and project space".

The material can of course be reinstated if references to reliable sources are included. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 15:22, 30 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Notable?

[edit]

How is Flett "notable"? Because he writes letters to British newspapers? I'd recommend deletion if I could be bothered to go through the procedure to do it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.17.154.153 (talk) 17:11, 14 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Anybody who has similar published output to Flett's is "notable", simply by being in the public eye. In addition, it appears that his writings are taken at least semi-seriously by the British reading public. Hold your deletion recommendation, OK? Thanks in advance.
