On 22 September 2026, Chon was conferred an Honorary Doctor of Philosophy (honoris causa) by Prince of Songkla University, Thailand.^[1]

The source is the official news page of Prince of Songkla University, which lists "Professor Dr.Kaye Chon" as receiving an honorary Doctor of Philosophy (ปรัชญาดุษฎีบัณฑิตกิตติมศักดิ์). An English-language source is expected soon and I will add it here when available.
