[edit]PQ gives 2004 which looks plausible, but I would like a better source. A bit surprised that there wasn't more online material from Australia on his time at stud. He made a very good start, but all his best winners seemed to come in 1988-1990. Maybe he had fertility trouble? Tigerboy1966 22:15, 10 September 2013 (UTC)
- He had about 88% fertility success in those years, so maybe mare quality played a factor? Froggerlaura ribbit 15:21, 11 September 2013 (UTC)
- Maybe as a new stallion from the old country he got a lot of early attention, which then leveled off, but he did very well at the start so it's a bit odd that breeders lost interest so quickly. Fashion can be odd: look at KD's sire Niniski, he made a sensational start, but never attracted many high-class mares. Thanks for adding dd. Tigerboy1966 22:16, 11 September 2013 (UTC)
