Location of historical Jugdia

This article on Jugdia appears to be about a different town than the historical Jugdia referenced in Mukherjee's article and other works. She describes Jugdia as 'Lying on the banks of the Feni which formed the boundary of Bengal and the Arakan, opposite Sandwip [...] and elsewhere 'Lying halfway between Dhaka and Chattagram' (Mukherjee, Merchants and Companies in Bengal, 110). The actual location of historical Jugdia would therefore appear to be in modern Bangladesh rather than India. Kingfish84 (talk) 15:12, 3 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
