dʒ or ʒ?

[edit]

jambe... jardin... are both ʒ. Can someone clarify please? -- Y not? 20:08, 14 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

One would assume that the palatalisation would have passed through a stage of dʒ before ending up as ʒ. Man vyi (talk) 07:25, 15 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Channel Is.

[edit]
The Joret line extends from the Channel Islands (including Jèrriais, Guernésiais, and Sercquiais) …

Does that mean it divides the islands, or what? —Tamfang (talk) 05:40, 8 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

From their articles, it appears that Jèrriais is north of the line and Sercquais may be south of it. —Antonissimo (talk) 04:46, 5 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
