Yet another example of Wikipedia Hypocrisy

[edit]

All images stripped from this page, including the picture of the artist in the infobox.

Compare to artists like Pablo Picasso &c. Clearly, the images displayed on Picasso's page are under copyright, as the artist passed away in 1973 and his family retains the rights to his works. Yet because Picasso is a widely "known" artist, and not just to art professionals, numerous images remain displayed.

Clearly, some "fair use" is allowable in WIkipedia. Perhaps being a household name supercedes copyright law in the minds of the gatekeeping editors who go through and remove these images? Too bad for smaller artists like Jon Arfstrom.
