Why is there no mention of his temperature scale?

Correct date of death

[edit]

Dalton's date of death is stated as 1844. A line under Other Publications lists it as 1840.Dukesnyder1027 (talk) 17:20, 3 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Statue?

[edit]

Should could mention a statue in his honor in Manchester? 71.58.94.212 (talk) 03:21, 3 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

The article currently says: "The John Dalton building at Manchester Metropolitan University is occupied by the Faculty of Science and Engineering. Outside it stands William Theed's statue of Dalton, erected in Piccadilly in 1855, and moved there in 1966." Is this the one you mean? Thanks. I propose to add Chemical crystallography before X-rays to the See also section in the next few days unless anyone disagrees.GreatStellatedDodecahedron (talk) 12:39, 17 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
