Significance Section appears to be AI generated
[edit]It currently reads as:
"Johanna Ferrour's role in the Peasants' Revolt of 1381 not only shows that women participated in social revolt in medieval England, but shows that on occasion women were even leaders of revolt. Her story is one of a common woman leading others to fight against what they deemed as unjust taxation and governance. Stories like hers are rarely seen in medieval Europe as women rarely led riots or revolts in the Middle Ages. The rare story of Ferrour proves that women could successfully lead groups of men and women in revolt to make their frustrations heard and felt by those who governed them. Ferrour's exceptional story was long ignored by history, which is more reason for her and other significant women in medieval history to be studied."
This paragraph is clearly AI-generated, presumably summarising the source it links to. I am not a Wikipedia editor, and have no desire to be - I just read your content. I don't even know if AI-generated content is allowed under your policies, but I know you guys take your guidelines seriously so thought I should be a good citizen and flag it. ~2025-38776-09 (talk) 21:36, 5 December 2025 (UTC)
- I wrote this article two years ago for a college project. This passage is simply well-written and is one hundred percent not written using AI. A professor at my university reviewed this post as well. AI is a problem, but this is simply not written using AI. Thanks for your concern. Jakethompson09 (talk) 22:25, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
- Use any commonly found AI detector, and it will back up that this is not written using AI. Jakethompson09 (talk) 22:27, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
