Chair of the Democratic Policy and Communications Committee

[edit]

The text states: "In November 2020, Neguse's House colleagues unanimously elected him to serve as a co-chair of the Democratic Policy and Communications Committee, the number eight position in House Democratic leadership. In December 2022, he was elected chair, the fifth-highest position in the Democratic Party leadership." Is this a typo? How is co-chair "the number eight position," but chair is the "fifth-highest position"? Are there three co-chairs beneath the chair? That still wouldn't make sense since the three co-chairs would be tied for the number six position. It's not even clear how the chair and co-chair positions differ at all. One would assume the only difference is that one is a sole position, while the other is shared by two or more. This needs clarification. 66.91.36.8 (talk) 11:48, 18 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
