This page repeats information and is not well organized.
[edit]Information on this page is often repeated. Some information does not belong to the section it is placed in, or the information within the section could be organized better by chronological or ideological grouping. The sections themselves (i.e. "Death", "Legacy", "Artistic Influences") may not progress in a logical or related order; I have tried to fix this, but I am not sure if my solution is good. The writing can often be unclear as well (the flow is not great and it is grammatically hard to understand), and occasionally feels a bit subjective. As an example: the first paragraph of "1961-1963: Literary influences" ("Morrison's senior year English teacher later said...") could honestly just be merged into the "Early life and education" section, as it deals with the same timeframe. If this is done, the second paragraph, "Morrison went to live with his paternal grandparents...", could also be merged into that same section. Advice on possibly completing this merge would be appreciated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by InsistentlyPerturbed (talk • contribs) 07:24, 23 December 2025 (UTC)

Mirandi Babitz & Eve Babitz
[edit]<ref name="lamag/eve-ending">{{cite news |last1=Appleford |first1=Steve |title=Eve Babitz's Hollywood Ending |url=https://lamag.com/news/eve-babitzs-hollywood-ending/ |access-date=31 July 2026 |work=LAmag |date=10 March 2022}}</ref>
Mirandi Babitz: " I actually met his old lady, Pam, first. She and I went to school together at LACC. Two months before I met her, she had fallen in love with Jim. The Doors were forming. As soon as anybody saw him onstage, like I did at the London Fog, you knew he had to be onstage. I was raving about how adorable he was. Eve went to see him, and she couldn’t believe it. So then she had to have him. She invited him to go with her to something that our father was performing at, and they went home together. (I made his leather pants. He wore them half to death. They were very fine French cowhide. I had a shop on the Sunset Strip called Mirandi.) I know he was really attached to Eve. So when he announced he was going to Paris toward the end of his life, she tried to talk him out of it because she hated Paris when we’d been there. - Mirandi Babitz Xo4v (talk) 00:35, 1 August 2026 (UTC)
