I have a close connection to the subject and have contributed photographs of Jay Gard and his work to Wikimedia Commons. I have therefore prepared a revised draft rather than making the substantial changes directly to the article.

The current article is largely based on older material. The proposed version updates the biography and work through 2026, uses a shorter encyclopedic structure, adds recent independent and institutional sources, updates the images, and removes the long lists of further reading and videos.

I would appreciate an independent review of the draft and, if appropriate, its implementation in the article.
