'Although James Davern moved to Network 10 to work on the "new" series. It was not a success and was cancelled after 30 episodes.' Two sentences? Script editor needed.

I remember attending a story conference at JNP in 1992. Davern came into the room and spotting me for an 'outsider' announced to all present that it was quite untrue that ACP was on its last legs, and that JNP were killing off the older characters in search of a younger demographic....
