I can't find any LinkedIn or any social media presence older than two weeks old.

The person who issued a subject-of-the-moment attention-grabbing statement on X "doesn't do social media"?

Every journalist and his / her dog and many others who clearly have no idea how turbo-predictive text systems (LLMs) work is pontificating about them at the moment. And anthropomorphising, saying such things as "it broke out / went rogue / etc". I expect if they threw a double-six in Monopoly they wouldn't rush to say the dice went rogue.

Many people, even in the field, seem not to know or to have put to one side how these "intelligent" systems work. They do a sort of souped-up predictive text based on probability vectors generated by statistically analysing of vast amounts of text to produce probabilities of which other words are likley to be close to / in sequence with a particular word. Way more prominent employees than this guy, way more prominent people in general without a wiki. Wikipedia pushes so much about “wait til we can verify” this or that, yet this guy gets a page? Info is circulating that this was planned out and the exposure was clearly not organic. Funny how things work when they fit your agenda. Please nominate Jacob Coxon for deletion. This is a premature biography built almost entirely around one news event. The subject received a burst of coverage because of his September 2026 resignation and accompanying statements, but there is not yet sustained independent biographical coverage showing enduring standalone notability.

Per WP:BIO1E / WP:BLP1E and WP:NOTNEWS, significant coverage of a person in connection with a single recent event does not automatically justify a standalone biography. The page was created essentially contemporaneously with the news cycle, before persistent coverage over time could be established.

"Attended Cambridge"

How long was he there? Did he graduate? Why no academic credentials?

This looks like a suspicious article timed as the AI hype is being amplified before Anthropic's stock market flotation.

In the absence of verifiable facts, it looks plausible that he didn't last the course at Cambridge, didn't last that long at his AI company jobs. He's listed in one link as one of many "core contributors", which every software company has for any significant piece of software. It indicates nothing about his expertise, just that he contributed to the core, i.e. the central part of a system. A programmer writing database import routines would fit the same description.
