Can't fix

[edit]

I hit this article via Random, and I thought I'd clean up the English. However, there are untranslated words. What is "taku?" If there is an article on it, it should be linked. If not, we need it translated.

The original text had "Previously" people had worn them.... Well, that begs the question of "before when?" I changed it to "In earlier times," assuming that the sense of the original had been "historically" or "in the days before the Raj," but I'm just cleaning. Original research

[edit]

I say this article mentioned at WP:RPPI, and decided to take a look, and can't help thinking that amongst the possible issues of sockpuppetry etc, there may be an actual problem being missed. More specifically, there seems to be a fair bit of original research in the article. The 'Regional context' section in particular seems to cite some sources which make no mention of the 'Jaapi' at all, which makes them highly questionable as a source. It isn't down to contributors to determine what constitutes 'regional context', that requires sources which explicitly discuss it. AndyTheGrump (talk) 15:52, 23 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
