Axle loading?

[edit]

Does anyone know the axle loading for these - particularly if it varied between the two bogies.

What was the design rationale for using two asymmetric bogies? Was it to even up the axle loading, per axle, for a design that otherwise placed a highly asymmetric load across the two bogies. Andy Dingley (talk) 11:52, 7 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Axle configuration

[edit]

English page says C-B, Japanese page says AAA-B. The actual bogie is made up of three separate articulated sections driven by a shaft. Not sure which is correct. Image attached.
