"probably the most epigrammatic of all Russian authors" ?

Is this a direct quote from something? It seems very odd to me to include something this nebulous in meaning in the opening of an article. It is not clear what "epigrammatic" means or what it would mean to be "the most epigrammatic" (wrote the most epigrams? funniest? most concise? most frequently quoted?) let alone what is meant by "probably" the most epigrammatic. I think "who has been described as the most epigrammatic..." would make more sense. ~2026-24596-33 (talk) 16:52, 19 June 2026 (UTC)
