What the hell does this mean?

"The interesting part of this flow is that the flow is choked at and not at Mach number equal to one as in the case of many other model such as Fanno flow."

"The flow is choked at" means... what and why? Is k Boltzmann's constant, if so where does this number come from, if not then what is it? Why not the Mach number = 1? If there are "many other model and not models, what else is there apart from the Fanno flow? It even seems to get the terminology "flow" and model mixed up...
