In addition, the PewForum source you insist on keeping is from 2013. Not only is it very much outdated as its ten years old, it also contradicts info from newer sources listed in the article. Are there are recent (ie. 2020-2022) PewForum sources available about Iran? - LouisAragon (talk) 23:52, 4 January 2023 (UTC)

Religious groups growing in Iran

There have been claims and reports of non muslim religious groups rising in significant numbers in Iran (Zoroastrianism and Christianity). Should they be added to the page? Firekong1 (talk) 15:14, 28 June 2023 (UTC)

As far as I know, there have been growths of Christianity and Zoroastrianism in iran. Size of Christianity in iran is highly controversial with estimates starting from 200,000 to 1 million people, however, there's not strong proof of high estimates, as Christian missions around the world have a long-established tendency to inflate actual number of converts, and no fully reliable source claims high estimates. But, its sure that there have been at least some converts to Christianity in iran. And for Zoroastrianism, sociologists have coined a term called 'Survey Zoroastrianism', which refers to identification as Zoroastrian as a form of protest, but, true converts to Zoroastrianism is unlikely to exist, and even they do exist, numbers are low. And one thing, this article is about islami in iran, so, please don't write much about Zoroastrianism and Christianity in iran, even if you write about it...
